What the work actually looks like
I've watched people arrive arms-crossed, half-testing me, half-daring me to get it wrong. And still, right there on the screen, that small flinch when I name the exact spot that's been aching, or the thing that happened three weeks ago they hadn't told a soul.
That flinch, the how did you know that, is more or less the whole job.
Who I am, briefly
The work is real. It just doesn't have to feel clinical to be real.
Not a crystals-and-incense practitioner, though I won't pretend the room doesn't smell good. I trained in psychology long before I trained in this, so what looks like intuition is really a fairly serious mix of clinical grounding and a structured healing system refined since 1995, layered on top of a knack for reading people that I had well before I had the training to explain it.
Curious, a little irreverent, no patience for anything wishy-washy.

How does this compare to other energy work?
Still intuitive. Just built on something solid enough to hold it.
Most energy work moves on pure intuition, following whatever's calling loudest in the moment. BodyTalk is different because it's structured: a formal protocol, refined since 1995, not a freeform read.
That structure is what makes it repeatable and teachable rather than purely a gift you either have or don't, and it's why sessions with me tend to land as more practical and tangible than incense-and-vibes territory.
The shift
How does this even work
if I don't say anything?
You barely have to lead.
No forms. No history to recount before we start. You arrive, we talk for a few minutes about what brought you in, or you say nothing and we simply see what rises, and then the session takes the wheel. What's been sitting quietly tends to surface on its own: in the body, in a memory that resurfaces mid-session, in something named before you've had to say it yourself.
You already do this every day without noticing. You don't consciously grow a scab, or remind your heart to beat, or supervise your lunch getting digested. Your body has been running the healing show your whole life, quietly, without needing permission. This is no different. It usually just needs a little help remembering what it already knows how to do.
What is BodyTalk, the grounded part
A structured system, not a mood.
BodyTalk was founded in 1995 by Dr John Veltheim and is now taught in over 50 countries, drawing on Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and other holistic healing principles. That structure is what makes it teachable and repeatable rather than purely instinctive, and it's built to sit alongside your existing medical care, not replace it.
The part where I tell you where it hurts before you do, that's not the system talking. That's just me, facilitating, pointing at what your body already knows how to do. The healing was always going to be yours. I'm just clearing a path to it.
How it actually works →For the skeptics
Skeptical is a completely normal way to arrive.
You don't have to believe in it for it to work, and some of the best sessions I've had were with people who walked in expecting nothing.
If your concern is that this sounds unscientific, or too close to crystal balls and guesswork, that's fair, and worth addressing directly. For what it's worth, I came from a scientific background in psychology myself, and I was skeptical too, before I saw what this actually does.
How Zoom sessions actually work
Sessions run as a protocol, not a live back and forth the whole time.
I run the full session on my side first, then bring you in for feedback on what came up.
It's energy work, so it doesn't rely on being physically in the room. The experience is different to an in-person session, but the outcomes are equally effective, whatever needs to shift, shifts, in person or remote.
Where most people start
What BodyTalk helps with.
Headaches and migraines, sleep, chronic fatigue, immune issues, anxiety, and the stomach things that turn out not to be about the stomach.
